if they actually follow through with these keystone runes that they announced, league of legends will not be the same. many players do not like this change, i am included, choosing which summoner spells before the game starts is a part of the game, a part of the strategy, and being able to change them IN GAME? thats ridiculous. you are killing your own game.

You can't do that though. You have to have used your summoner spells 3 times to get enough shards to switch ONE summoner spell. Also, when you switch the new summoner spell has the same cooldown as the one you switched it with (so if you just flashed, then switched flash with teleport, teleport would be on a 5 minute cooldown as that was flash's cooldown when you switched it). Did you even read how the rune actually works, or just see "you can switch Summoner spells" and instantly guessed?
Also as a reminder, that's a keystone. If you take it, you are giving up on, say, Thunderlord's or Hunt of the Blood Moon or such. You are making a pretty big tradeoff for being able to switch your summoner spells every now and again.

You need three charges to switch. You'd have to wait for them to be up again. You're also giving up other keystones just for this and it's been said the tree for that keystone kinda sucks. You're trading a lot of power for the ability to do this

You can see now after they released all the new runes if you choose the path for changing summs you will lose much better ones for champs like Renekton

I completely agree, having now played the preseason I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. The new runes/mastery thing is such bs, it takes away the element of being able to have a preference of play, they have taken away your option to choose as now you only get to choose 5 masteries/runes altogether. I have uninstalled league and will never play it again. Many other lol players feel the same and will uninstall too. Everybody who played lol liked the rune and mastery system. It was fair, it gave you so many different options for how you liked to play the game. they have stripped that and made the game so basic just for the new people who want to play the game. its way to simple now, its like playing lol s7 at lvl 1 on lol s8 lvl 30. whats the point? no reason to rank up. overall this will be the end of league of legends as many people will see how bad it is compared to all the previous seasons.
