Can anyone tell me how this at all deserving of a perma-ban. Riot Games took all my hard earned champs and levels because of this one chat-log. This is the only chat-log they sent me. BTW everything in this log is in team chat not all chat.

Either way, you used zero tolerance terms and you were given severe punishment for that on an account that was likely already punished for toxic behavior. Pretty much the only way to not be banned after using hate speech is to have an absolutely clean record when it happens.

Chat restrictions are a warning that you need to shape up your behavior.

A 14-day ban is a warning that if you fuck up again you get a perma.

And a perma is a permaban.

It is common knowledge that Riot has a zero tolerance policy towards slurs, and doesn't care how or where you utter them.

But it wasn't just one instance though, it was two, both in the same game. Additionally you had to have received a warning during the 14-day ban that further poor behavior would result in a permaban, and violating the zero-tolerance policy multiple times in a single game definitely shows that you haven't improved your behavior at all. Also, money doesn't give exemption to the rules. To quote Kei143:

When Riot permabans someone, their philosophy is "the chances of this guy reforming isn't a whole lot, we'd rather not have him in the game". Thus in their eyes, they have already written off the toxic player as a paying client.

From a business standpoint, do they want to remove the toxic guy who has spent $500 but is causing a negative environment for 4-9 other players in every game? Those non-toxics are also spending $500 and probably will spend more, promote the game more when they are enjoying the game AND they won't cause a negative environment.

I personally think it is a fine argument to protect the ones that are paying money and aren't toxic rather than protecting the ones that may pay the same amount but are toxic.

At the end of the day it's unfortunate, but you brought this on yourself. If you truly valued your account then you should have thought of that before you decided to act up enough to get permabanned. Next time if it's not helpful or constructive then don't press Send.

It isn't a robbery, you agreed to the terms and conditions, you could have spent 10,000$ on the game and it wouldn't change the fact that you broke the rules and got banned.
