Can we get some word on the Sion Passive/Tiamat bug?

This has been a problem for at least 2 years.

For those of you unaware, if you buy Tiamat and then die as Sion, the splash damage stops working for a random amount of time. As in, when you are in passive, you stop benefiting from Tiamat's main effect for X seconds.
