Alistar kinda seems a bit of a one trick pony

I remember that alistar used to have a stun in his q and w, that were pretty unconditional. His heal was his e which was also an on demand ability. I'm suddenly interested why give alistar conditional heals and stuns, and only slightly boosts his tankiness. When playing against an Alistar all you really have to do is zone the bull, and it becomes a game of who makes a mistake first. I think the Ali needs some sort of change, because for some reason now he's a R>W >Q>E or rarely flash>Q>W into ally team. I feel at this point what makes or breaks good alistars are using item actives because there are holes in his kit. what do you think
