Guys, I was wondering if it makes sense to main a champ that isn't considered good. Like before gnar

both of which my friends tell me are bad champs but i played them anyways becayse i really like the concept and design behind. them especially shaco
You play who you love to play and are good with imo
Liking your champion is important if you want to improve as a player, learning the meta champs come later
If playing for fun, screw meta mains. If playing ranked, learn sup jg or adc.
Twisted Fate is good, shaco is whack right now.
FInding the champion that suits you is really important to enjoying this game. If you are below diamond elo then you can main practically any champion and make it to diamond. Find a champion you love. I love playing Vladimir. His burst and his massive heals never get old to me. If you like playing Gnar then go for it! Doesnt matter if you want to play a forgotten champion like Mordekaiser, with enough practice youll get good at any champion and youll climb while having fun. Once in diamond meta and "good" and "bad" champions matter more and youll wanna play stuff with high winrates but if not dont worry about it. Dont listen to your friends, get good with Gnar, Shaco or TF and you`ll beat their faces in :P
