If you're applying for Riot, do they ask if you play the game followed by your IGN?

Just asking for a friend. He's toxic and has an upcoming interview.

As part of pre-screening, applicants are asked: "If you have one, please tell us your summoner name"

See: https://www.riotgames.com/en/work-with-us/job/1141423

This may be used for screening an applicant's in-game behavior, which may then be discussed further in an interview. However, the fact that he's received an interview is generally a good sign, and it likely indicates that their behavior is something that Riot may be willing to work with them on controlling.

I should apply... I would clearly have no bias towards fighters and want tanks to have to actually build damage to do damage.

Yeah when my husband applied he had to provide his in game name. Probably why he wasn't chosen -- he's not terribly active, but he thought since it was a stats job, he didn't need to be a no lifer that played all the time or something =P

Best of luck to your friend!
