Solo MMR

Hi, I'm a player since season 5 and this is the first time I started a discussion. I had a Solo MMR of silver II untill my last game of my plavements, when I was done with my placements it was reset to silver V. The last 12 games ranked I won 10 of them but my Solo MMR only increases a little bit when I win but decreases a lot when I lose. My question is, why does losing infect your Solo MMR much more then winning. I have a really high win rate atm but a really bad Solo MMR in my opinion. Pls help.
