A tip as one owner (co-owner but close enough) to another - Recruiting mods directly from the boards is a bad idea.

It'd be best to try to recruit some mods from people who are active in your server. The only time you should pull in outside moderation is if you need someone to set something up for you, and you should only do it if they're reputable.
