Second year of season rewards I am missing and people still get away with int feeding

Over a year ago I verbally retaliated to one of the many players who target harass me by intentionally feeding my games because of my champion choices. I was rightfully banned due to my unkind words and general contempt of how annoying it was to be a Shaco player in league of legends. I have returned to play due to my excitement that my favorite characters kit is being returned to its former glory. It is difficult to play competitive league of legends at high elo's while maining this character because nobody wants to actually play the game with you. People decide that the game is over before it begins and run it down in a way that makes it difficult for an automated system to detect.

I don't mind a 2 week ban, but so far this is going to be my 2nd year cancellation of ranked rewards. I have not been punished since the ban, and I have played over 200 games. I am certainly playing to win and I am check point 3/3 in honor level 0. I don't know how many more years it will take me to get to honor level 2. It does not seem likely due to the sheer volume of games I would have to theoretically play. This may have been possible if I was still in college but, with the rest of the early community, I am now out in the real world of employment etc. (to preface, I have been playing league since pre-season 1, I have the good ole bronzodia season 1 icon from my epic support Sona gameplay).

I feel that my account has essentially been invalidated from ranked permanently, and it would be faster for me to create a new level 30 account than to get honor level 2 on this one. I don't know why this relatively short time instance of frustration has invalidated 7~ years of good behavior.

At this point I am too old and jaded to be mad at players intentionally feeding my games, but it is saddening to see that players are still doing this and nothing is actually being done. It annoys me what is acceptable behavior and what is not.

I am frustrated that players like this are allowed ranked rewards, but I am not.

I was suggested a solution to transfer to Latin-America north so that I may be able to start clean as an honor level 2, but I would much prefer to play on a more competitive server. I may have old-man mechanics now, I still enjoy the nostalgia.

Can riot hit us with a happy 10 year anniversary honor refresh for people who have had penalties for over 1+ years ago but don't have the thousands of hours to grind honor to get rewards? I can make a new account and hit diamond+ faster than getting from honor level 0 to 2 and it is insanely discouraging. @riot pls send help

Even Nunu takes smite, seeing as how his consume still has an animation, no excuse for a jungler not to take it. The fact that that nid has a mejais and that many kills is a big indicator that he probably was running it down pretty hard, on top of the fact that not taking smite is a big enough throw indicator to begin with.

Ignore the person trying to call you out (you know the one), every thread they just spew garbage anyways. Riot 100% has a bias towards any type of retaliatory flaming over feeding, because it's easy to track on top of someone is just more likely to report that with easy proof, but also having inters in diamond and win trading=more accounts=more skin sales/player stats to show at meetings

I don't understand how people are allowed to not take smite while jungling. I mean jungle items are locked behind taking smite, and jgl camp bonus xp is locked behind having a jungle item.

it's a blatant troll. why are there people saying otherwise?

It's OK. I got punished like two months ago for repeating something someone said to me that the system thought I was saying about someone else and support didn't overturn it and so I'm going to lose rewards too.

This Renekton player was losing lane but I was paying attention elsewhere to the map, ganking and securing objectives, etc. He kept repeating the phrase "0 gank shaco fk ur mom" so after I went 15/5 and we won the game, I said "0 gank shaco fk ur mom" and got hit with a chat restriction for it since he was upset enough with me that he was going to report it anyway.

Very un-mod-like behaviour, I know, but it had to be done!

Anyway I know last season they gave a boost near the end to help players catch back up for rewards but I'm unsure if they plan to do the same this year.

I'm in the same boat, I got a chat restrict for telling a a Gragas jungle who bought a cull, only came to lanes to take minions, and took a 15 min break to "roll a blunt" to "burn in hell". I'm sure it wasn't the only time I was reported and have done my best to change my attitude towards the game since my chat restrict, but I don't think I should have lost my ranked rewards over that. I was in my S1->G4 promos while he did this, I could have said A LOT worse to him.

So I feel you, and from what I was told by support he may have been punished and I wasn't notified of it. I doubt it, didn't ease my grief at all, just suck it up and deal with the fact that riot hates bad words but not bad human beings.

Honestly people treat it like we are super toxic to everyone (which there are few) but majority are nice people that just got frustrated at one game. I got suspended twice, One for afk (which I admit I shouldnt have kept playing when my internet was unstable), and one for being toxic to a player. And the truth is I'm probably more nicer than majority of the player base, I have if not hundreds of league friends that added me because I was a good player to play with and I have my own club with about 50ppl that I only added super nice people to play with.

The point is, it is way too harsh especially when you get suspended end of season, youre basically guaranteed you'll not get the reward you've spent hundreds of hours trying to rank up on because of one game.

That's not "running it down" at ALL. YOU are the problem here - you flame people for literally any reason just to make your own ego feel better. Riot is not the problem, it's you.

Another quality game of soloQ, my team mate literally was just like "eh, Gonna leave now" at lvl 5. We won but it was still a horrible quality game.

I feel for you OP, I've had many of those games and really all I can do is just mute them because so help me God I would be banned if let one rip on the keyboard.

Eventually and overtime, these players do get what's coming to them. It looks like nothing is happening because there is just so many toxic players, but rest assure, overtime, these players are removed from the game.

Also, anytime you see someone pick cleanse & teleport in champ select, it's usually them trying to troll or force someone to dodge. You're really better off just dodging the game at the very last second if no one else does. I've learned this the hard way...

I sympathize with the OP heavily in this case. I've played the game since 2013, and this is my first season getting into gold. NEVER in my 7~ year time of playing this game have I ever suffered a punishment until about a few months back. It was a 14 day suspension simply because I retaliated to a premade group of 3 where 1 player was the provoker and was constantly saying rude things about me and my random partner in bot lane. For whatever reason, the first insult that came to mind after suffering what felt like forever with this player was the derogatory F word when they insulted me. Please bear in mind, I honestly never use that word in or out of game anymore and it's been a long time since I have, it was simply the first insult that popped into my head at the time.

Despite recognizing that I screwed up immediately more for my choice of insult rather than my overall behavior or responding to the player, and choosing to ignore the guy, the instigator and his premade teammates convince the enemy team during and post game that I was toxic the whole match. And if a moderator or admin had actually bothered to look into the chat log for that game, or even into my past games, they'd discover that I've never once used derogatory slander until that moment because it fell under hate speech. =_= Which again, it was said with the mindset of "pick an insult, any insult will do" rather than actual hate speech.

It's incredibly frustrating knowing that the "redemption" time just to get back to ranked rewards honor status basically takes months of constant gaming that adults don't have the time for, and that had I decided to call that flamer literally ANYTHING else for an insult barring the N word, nothing would've happened to me. And it's stupid. It's so, so, incredibly stupid. And I wholeheartedly agree that it's ridiculous to know that it would be faster to make a new account with barely any champs to get ranked rewards honor status rather than my 7~ year invested account. The honor system NEEDS reevaluation time because I actually miss the fact that I can't honor my enemies anymore, too.

Took me six months from 0 to lvl 2. Now I have auto mute all on and last check point for honor 5

We'll have to see replay footage. From the stats of the player and yourself, they always play unorthodox, their gold income actually EXCEEDED YOURS and matched the team's average

From the looks of it, there was not enough vision on the map and you assumed the Zilean getting counter-jungled by Nidalee, one of the strongest early game duelists in the jungle, was intentional feeding and simply stopped playing

If I had to guess, you probably argued from champ select, played a brief moment and gave up, given that your CS count is only 18

This happened to me last season. 2 games, 2 players inted the game terribly. Both flamed me after i asked them to stop feed. I told them i wont argue with noobs and muted them without further comments. One was reported by all 4 of us, the other by all 9.

Both games i got quick message about penalty being issued. But i got one aswell, 2 weeks before end of season. I didnt manage to restore honor on time. Support didnt overturn the sentence, even if they expressed understanding for the situation.

Epilogue. I disagree with riot's system of punishment. Someone punished twice early in season can achieve honor lvl 2 and get rewards. Someone punished at end of seasone once cant fix honor and gets no rewards. For that i stopped investing money in this game and to riot. When they fix the system i will give them money again. Put your money where your mouth is.

Second thing is that trolls are not worth any comments. They will lose your game, and otherones after. Dont get baited and punished. They will continue to fall while you rise, and you will not meet them anymore. And dont forget, solo duo ranked is just a gimmick, dont tilt there. Full 5 premade is the only way to trully play this game without any random team mate factors. Everything else is just a joke. Knowing this helps me keep calm. GL

The amount of people who think not taking smite as a jungler is okay is impressive to me, this is why they won't climb*[slayer-pantheon-popcorn]*
