Got it before the deadline of February 12th, I'm pretty sure I was only chat restricted and nothing else, is there something else I have to do to get rewards, or would simply waiting be enough.

Nah you can get Honor 5 regardless afaik, but there was a post saying ppl that got chat banned only and reached honor 2 before February 12th could get season rewards
