Ranked Reset Problem.

I know Rioters don't usually come on the boards but maybe I will get lucky and get a response. Basically, with the ranked reset that is coming this month, I think there is some flaws. I think one of the biggest problems right now is that there are too many people in diamond 4 that do not deserve the rank, but the problem is that all diamond players are losing one division being "capped" at diamond 4. This does not solve the problem, but rather punish the people that were actually able to escape the disasters of Diamond 4 elo. I had to win 9 games in a row at +14 lp to get to diamond 3 recently and now I will be put back into d4 with the other d4 players that most likely do not even deserve to be in diamond. If everyone is losing a division, I think diamond 4 players should drop to platinum one and prove they can get back to the diamond. I'm interested in anyone else's take on this subject. I think it's a short sighted solution as well, but it's not really aimed at you, it's a solution meant to appease pro players. Us plebs don't matter to Riot except for having a wallet they'd like to empty.

The problem was that there was an error at the beginning of the season that was giving people who were diamond+ accelerated LP gains and therefore allowing them to climb higher than they should've. It's really only a problem at the top of the ladder because it allowed people with low win rates to qualify for masters+.

Kicking people out of diamond 4 would have zero impact on this issue, you're just salty that you're going to be knocked down a peg and they aren't. xd
