So, everyone was complaining that C9 had the worst group pick out of all NA. Yet they still beat everyone but SKT, who we all knew is going to go 6-0 in groups). Sure its not over yet, but it will be another year where C9 is still the best NA team.
No matter how C9 does, they're the best performing NA team. But they still might drop out in groups.
Considering they had to escape the play in stage, win NA's first best of 5 in the process, and then stare down a SKT and a chinese team in the toughest group, I think they've got a moral victory already because they showed they can at least contest EDG.
Ideally C9 can beat ahq again and EDG faces them as a broken and defeated team.
