The Super Top speaks the truth

I mean he is actually 100% right. Like if this guy talked like this all the time he would be so much better. He goes over the old kit and the small rework to explain his reasoning which is how you argue. Like wow just wow I mean when he is isn't talking about Aatrox it's pretty bad.
Like this is actually pretty jarring to listen too compared to when he talks about basically anything else.
This just shows how ignorant the people wanting old Aatrox back are. WHEN FUCKING HASHINSHIN CAN MAKE A GOOD ARGUMENT AGAINST IT you should know you're wrong.
Hashinshin Truth
For future reference when posting videos, it’d be nice if a synopsis was given, for those of us that can’t play videos. I figured it out from the replies eventually. ######Imagine still using a Nintendo DSI to browse Boards
Thank you Hashinshin.
Hashinshin : *Says literally anything* Dumbasses in the comments : *HE IS WRONG, BECAUSE HE IS HASHINSHIN*
If you wanna impress me, show me a clip where hashinshin says something positive about any champion.
I live for Hashinshin's rants lmao, they're great
I believe old
Aatrox, for lore reasons, was developed to play similarly to
Tryndamere considering they were closely intertwined back then. Their functions were essentially the same in how they played the game, other than Aatrox could use his Ultimate base damage to teamfight a little more than Tryndamere, but still performed the same things. There was a little more complexity to Aatrox, and honestly, it should have been Tryndamere that was chosen for the rework.
It makes sense they would strip most of old Aatrox away because it shared too much gameplay with an existing champion.
I remember when they announced it and a part of the argument was how nobody played him, and that there were probably more people working on Aatrox than there were Aatrox mains.
It only jumped up the month or two before his rework. Much like
Galio, actually, who can also be considered a champion Riot deleted, except Galio had no similar champions (although to be fair, old Galio's kit was severely outdated).
The new Aatrox is just broken in every way and by no means an improvement over the old version. In fact, his old version was pretty well-balanced before they decided to rework him.
Also, they did not rework him for the sake of balance - they reworked him because of money.

He’s not wrong, but I do take issue with something he said.
He said old aatrox was overpowered for 6 months, as if a champion’s strength is solely dependent on when they last received a change. In all actuality, it was sterak’s modifying base damage and his scaling off of base damage that made him overpowered. By multiplying his base ad multiple times, with just a triforce and sterak’s he had ALL the damage he needed. In fact, if you look back at bruisers of the time, the trend was triforce sterak’s since the combo’s damage was so absurd.
If you didn’t build other AD items, it was a 4.5 times multiplier to your base damage on triforce procs, not including aatrox’s passive. That means that a champion building these two items with a base AD of 120 would do 540 damage on their triforce procs. Since triforce is available every 1.5 seconds, in a 1.5 second trade with just enough attack speed, you could get off two procs, doing 1080 damage with just the two procs.
Then you built 3 more tank items on top of that and then you do comparable damage to a carry while building 5 tank items and triforce (since sterak’s, to this day, is one of the BEST defensive items in the game).
It’s really silly to say that aatrox himself was inherently op back then, because what was actually op was triforce sterak’s. This was an item combo built on anyone who could build/abuse it or anyone who had decent base AD.
Old morde, a champion with great AP scalings, was building steraks triforce rylais.
Yasuo was building triforce steraks.
Even champs like fizz, ekko, Akali could go into triforce sterak’s.
Apparently i played Aatrox wrong this whole time btw, I do not know how he was supposed be a poke champion if spamming E would at some points get you out of health, not to say the cd was kinda long if i remember wrong. (dont say i didnt poked every single second it come out of cdr, but all in was still aatrox best gameplay), he was supposed be like one of few melee hyper carry that just goes in and press right click, like trynda for example, since their kits were pretty similars, you jump in, you deal damage, you either kill them or go back and recover your health, then repeat.
imagine a champions being reworked 2 years ago and you still get asked if you miss them.
and
mains [poppy-wink]
Personally I want the old hp cost Aatrox. Only thing with that aatrox it needed better armor better max hp and the updated passive cooldown for pre rework aatrox. not the 5 bar passive aatrox.
