A serious discussion about the game.

Hello, I don't really know how to start this off so I'll jump right in. I recently watched RossBoomsocks video about how content creators are being screwed over with changes. This made me think about how I see the game, right now this game IS NOT fun. When I used to play years ago there was an excitement, being able to play a new champ and have fun, I didn't have to worry about lane rotations, runes and masteries. I could play what I wanted and do well because of it. Now this feeling is gone. When I go into a game now there is no fun, even when winning. I'm constantly worried about what champs should be banned, what I should play, what I have to build and rune set-up. Then in game I have to check every objective all the time, control my minion waves and rotate. Then late game is just hoping someone makes a mistake on the enemy team getting baron and pushing down mid. To make it worse if I make a mistake (which everyone does) I get trash talked and get demoralised (it's gotten to the point where I /mute all at the start of a game). Then there is just how the meta is. If I pick someone I love to play, garen is a good example for me, I will not provide the same impact I could on another champion who is more meta, this means I have to play a champion I don't enjoy just because I need the LP and don't want to lose.

In my opinion professional play is to blame for this, it's created a very competitive and dull atmosphere in the game (even in normal games). Now some people are fine with this and there's nothing wrong with that, but nearly all my friends have quit this game now for the same reason I'm quitting. It's not a fun game, which defeats the purpose of a game. It's a sport now.
