Why would you even buy a Mega Orb? Almost every single Legacy skin is a shitty 260 or 520 RP recolor. You spent an extra 30 tickets to guarantee you get shit.

There's so many bad legacy skin shards that doing something that guarantees a legacy skin shard is taking a huge gamble. Just go for the Great Orb.
I ended up getting Sweetheart Annie (already have) and another Orb. Other Orb contained Major Ziggs -.- And that was all my tickets. Guess there's no more missions now so and they are definitely not worth buying.
I got an ugly ass Irelia skin from one and a Lee Sin skin from another which I can't use because I don't even own him. It would be nice if Hextech omitted skins for champions you don't have unlocked and who aren't part of the rotation

I seem to recall something about a cigar being "lost" some time ago due to laws and legislations in some countries, and ended up being lost globally - and here we have another rule that forces something else, but which ISN'T being enforced globally?

I've done the math, and I'll stay away from the Mega Orbs. Great Orbs seems to be the better deal as far as skins are concerned.

Now, what I see (subjective opinion/personal and individual taste applies)...is just a long list of old skins. While I presume e-sport skins are also included (as they're considered legacy), that chance is...well, shouldn't we be told what the chance is at getting something that is actually worth anything (in as much as digital, rented content got a value at all)?

Well, whatever the case, the Great Orbs and its skin shard loot covers stuff such as Dawnbringer Riven, Pulsefire Caitlyn, God Fist Lee Sin. Small chance, aye...but at least the chance is there.
TL;DR: Some say a chance at getting something new at a lower price is better than getting something old.
Mine had another Mega Orb + Sonoran Kog Maw skin which I didn't even know existed. So that was pretty mediocre. The second Mega Orb had the Headless Hecarim skin which I actually like so I'm mildly satisfied. I guess I made out better than most.
I ended up getting ssw singed, which i already own.

I'm only using tickets to get the Baron Icon, I already hate the loot system and these orbs are just shiny versions of the garbage I been dealing with the past 2 months now......

I got the baron icon and Pharoh Nasus from the great orb. 520 rp skins are reroll fodder if you don't like them. I tell myself that's more fun than 200 dust

i'm not really complaining about the loot system/. overall, since release, i got 7 great skins dj sona, super galaxy rumble, dunkmaster darius,project lucian, blood moon yasuo, underworld tf and championship zed. and i almost unlocked zombie nunu:) too bad i don't play most of this champs:))

My mega orb didn't contain a skin shard, just another mega orb. When I opened it, it had a duplicate of a skin shard I'm already holding on to because I don't play the champ and am not sure if I even want it. :( I understand it's free stuff, just a little frustrating. Especially since my last two boxes I opened had champ shards for champs I already own.. Boxes are getting a lot harder to get at this point in the season haha
Personally I think the Great Orb is a much better deal than the Mega Orb. Legacy skin shards contain a lot of old, low quality 520-750 rp skins, so your chances of getting a decent skin are relatively low. Almost all of the newer and high quality skins are contained in the Non-legacy skin pool. Therefore the odds of getting a decent skin are relatively higher in this pool (aka from the Great Orb).

Honestly I would take it for the juicy orange juice you get from it. 1820 skins for OJ is pretty good. Too bad mega orbs basically have 520 recolours too.
