the veteran rewards will be based on how old is your account or on how many hours you spent in game?

How would i be able to check my hours played if they fucked the api to see it on the websites that tell you your overall playtime

From the link at the bottom for the FAQ:

"Are there any other rewards for veterans coming this preseason?

We're planning to give out exclusive emotes based on how many hours you've put in since the beginning of League. Playing approximately 500 hours gets you the Defender of the League emote, at around 1,500 hours gets you the Champion of the League emote, and 2,500 hours gets you the ultra-rare Conqueror of the League emote.

We're also looking into work on the profile page that'll let you show other players when you started playing League (including all your previous ranked badges). We're hoping to ship that by the end of this year or the beginning of early next year."

What about if you started playing since season 2 but transferred to a different region in season 4 but transferred back would all my hours still count towards the conquer of the league?

if you get the 2500 hour emote them probably yes

Wish it was a combination of hours played and/or how long you've been here. Or maybe different emotes for both. Riot keeps screwing over long time players in favor of new ones or those who just play a ton.

That's only 80-90 games of average time. That'd probably only take like a month at most if you were to play only 3 games a day.

90 games at 30 minutes per game would be 2,700 minutes, or 45 hours. At one hour per game, it would be 90 hours. Therefore, at any reasonable choice for average game time, it would be somewhere between 45 and 90 hours.

I don't know what exactly you were claiming is 90 games of average time, but it's nothing that was referenced in this thread.

There is a site, called "wasted on lol", but it can't calculate your playtime accurate anymore. Normal games are private and not longer available through the Rito API... summoner 14

You get a mission named after the emote you are going to get :) You just have to play one match-made game and then it's yours ^^ (I got my mission already btw)

I have the mission to complete and receive conquerer of the league. For those that are upset about the time played.... you have the best chance if you have been here longer. If you haven't played enough and have been around that long then you just aren't that dedicated and that is what the emote/icon are for.
