I swear I see tanks doing more damage than assassins/adcs

I tried to play some games today, and what the fuck ? Maokai from last game can delete me in secs. Meanwhile Jhin can't do shit. I mean, tanks aren't tanks in these times. But if a champion who can tank more damage than other champs + deals more damage than anything is a big nono. Chill Riot, ADCS/Assassins are the champions which are supposed to do the highest damage. Not maokai/Malphite

https://i.imgur.com/1mh1K0l.png[] Most of my kills were solo against Morde, but I roamed around too. Only person who killed me was Yi. Everyone else was my bitch. No idea why he rushed Thornmail against me.

But yeah. I don't care how bad the enemy is. I shouldn't be able to do that while playing a tank.
