Questions about this years Allstars...

So now that Allstars is basically done, I'm left with some questions about it. First off no doubt it was still really entertaining and fun to watch, so I'm not here to try and bash it saying it sucks and it was a waste. But, I am am wondering why there were a lot of events and details that made allstars more fun and unique that were omitted or different from previous allstars. Here are some things:

  1. NO Team Ice or Fire : This one isn't that big of a deal since Riot made due with just the regions but I wonder why stop when you've done all the previous years with trophies, jerseys and jackets for the pros and not to mention the icons, death animations and all the in game things that went to the fire and ice theme suddenly go out the window?

2)Very little variety for game modes: This year there was tandem mode which is always awesome and also pro playing Nexus Blitz but that was it. I don't no about other people but I personally as really looking forward to all assassin game mode or maybe a all marksmen, One-for-All, Poro King for Christmas, Urf, Hexakill, Ascension, Nexus Siege….idk something else would be super fun. Instead Blitz had sort of a little bit of all but I still felt it was super lacking and more variety to me was a definite need. This is my biggest point on why I felt the year could have been better.

  1. Streamers and Youtubers: I really enjoyed having popular streamers and youtubers being involved in some of the events and games. I do feel like though that maybe you have them not be on the analyst desk? This is totally personal opinion but I wasn't excited about Tyler1 be in it. Not really a hater for him I just don't like his casting style but it would have been fun (and less cringy )to play instead about cast and "analyze". But my main question is, is this a one time thing or can we expect this to come again in the future?

  2. 2v2: 2v2 was cool and a good way incorporate the non-pros in the event, but why have 2v2 when you already have a 1v1 tournament and you could have non pro play other fun game modes maybe? To me at least it felt repetitive. Entertaining yes but repetitive and...…. lazy? I guess? Lazy as in it felt like they wanted to do something else but 1v1s where on their minds so they just said lets do 2v2 and called it good. idk.

  3. 3 Days?: Not really an issue but to me this felt super short. Probably wrong but it felt like allstars in the past wer eat least 4days? maybe 5? Maybe the lack of other game modes to play was a roll in it only being a weekend long?

Anyways replies and thoughts would be appreciated, and if you could supply with any riot articles or AskRIot pages on explaining of these changes and desicions that would awesome. i have no intention of flaming or blaming riot for these desicions i would like to know the reasoning behind it. Apoligies for any typos and bad grammer.
