Tahm Kench revert

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to make this discussion about tahm kench, this is not going to be a cry post or anything like that, I am merely interested in why does the majority of playerbase thought that it was utterly frustrating to play against that champion. I admit I was playing tk top during patch 9.9 and 9.10 both when he was allegedly the most broken toplaner with which I to some extent agree, but I had been constantly playing him there way before those huge buffs. In my opinion riot should've never added those buffs and maybe people would not have been so salty about the champ that they wanted it gone for good. Seriously why not just revert it to it's previous state? I honestly think that he has counterplay: most ranged champs can kite him, most phase rush abuser mages can poke him down, even a good amount of melee champs (who are said to lose sooo hard against tahm kench) if played properly can trade against him in their favour. Let's see an example: Darius. What does that champion do that makes him more interactive? That he has to hit the Q, that you are not even able to dodge because his E makes you literally unable to move after cast not to mention if followed by a W slow? You have to be really potato to miss a Darius Q to be frank. Why is Darius any healthier of a champ than tk? He can literally AA twice, pop ghost and all in you lv1 without having to hit one single ability! At least with kench you CAN dodge his slow, go behind minions to block it for you,he doesn't do DOT, if he activates shield, he won't regen it back. Another good example is Garen, he only has to circle his abilities well to do good trades against him. Yorick? After lv6 tahm shouldn't even come close to him.Whenever I played aatrox, I easily dumpstered any tk always. I want to make a shoutout to a rengar I played against a couple of days ago with tk (platinum elo), who cried about the current tk :D. Like, really? This is not even a champion and he manages to lose against him with one of the hardest counters. He went that stupid 5 dorans blade build and didn't build any damage,only sustain. So I think the core of the problem is that people don't think. They just refuse to even slightly use their brains to play properly and smart not just against tk,I am talking about every at-the-time op champs. Don't get me wrong I don't deny that 9.9 was too much I think he needed nerfed,but not gutted completely afterwards. So again,please write down why you think he is an unfair champion. Please don't come with the competitive bs,i know,i know. Talking about soloq. And for the record, I don't have any problems with any of the above listed toplaners actually because I like them and play them regularly but It's insane that people dont complain to riot about them so hard like they did with tahm.
