What more can I do for an S on Morg?!?!

I absolutely cannot understand how Riot is coming up with grades lately. Just take some of my recent games as an example.

3/1/22 = A+ 1/0/14 = A+ 4/5/27 = A-. 5/5/9 = B+. But THEN.... 7/3/40 = S-

I'm putting down tons of wards. I'm participating in team fights. I'm not playing for an S. I'm just playing to do whatever I can to help my team. I'm rooting, I'm shielding, I'm saving them from dying. I got 3 of the honors in that last game on the list, probably because I kept my teammates from dying several times. But when I look at my score at the end of the game and see that I got 40 assists and then only get an S- I'm in shock, my team is in shock, the enemy team is in shock. Everybody thought that was worth an S.

My crowd control score in that game was 120, almost 4 times what anyone else in the game had. My vision score was 78. I don't have a bunch of CS, but I'm the support. I'm not taking CS unless no one else is around. What the hell more can I do????

Your ward count is really low in nearly every game. Since morgana is played in the support position, you are also competing with the rest of the player base with how many wards you placed.

It weighs extremely heavily. Probably as heavily as csing as a solo laner.

other issues:

you want an S as a tank support? oh you die once? it sucks to be you.

you want an S with this champion as support and you are actually good at it? oh that champion main role happens to be completely different? (lux, maokai, veigar, kayle) sorry but you actually suck because even as 0/0/30 you have no CS

Getting level 7 on Morg was surprisingly easy for me. I just warded a ton, landed every binding, took a few kills and CS, and the S's came flying in. That was a few years ago so it might be harder now.

Trying to get level 7 on Ezreal though......The endless A+/S- are real. I just gave up rofl. Purple > Blue anyways =P

I didn't go look at each game, but ward count on some of them seems quite low for the game duration so it is likely vision score doing you in. Good ways to grab some better vision score are deep wards in the early game if you can work with the jungler for them. Buying a few more control wards over the course of the game really helps as well, I see you bought 3 in that last hour+ game which feels very low. I don't really see anything else that is hurting you though, you don't seem to die a lot or anything like that. Just keep at it and you'll get the last token, it's really difficult to get an S on some champions now so I feel your pain.

Generally speaking, they screw up the grading because they make other changes during the season. For me personally, I'm never going to have the CS I did when I built Banner of Command on every support champ ever. With Morg, you're not even building Relic so there's less of a chance. And looking at your match history it seems like you top out at just over 100. With an AoE like she has, you're going to need to do 200 no questions asked. I don't have time to look at all of your ward scores, but you really should be throwing something like 15 red wards a game, and even more for non-reds. Scans give you solid WS so you might consider that as a means of increasing your chance.

Also, I just read your "CS is for the ADC" and, ok sure, but boost your speed items - on morg I'd go: item 3117 item 3905 item 3504 - and clean up lanes. Drop your pool on waves and leave. It's lane maintenance. You have to hit 200 if you want an S.

Being that she was one of the first I got to Level 7, there are a few things it takes to push it there.

It's not just based on your KDA alone. This is what people have to drop, when they are looking at how to get higher grades. KDA is part of it, but it only goes so far unless you can pretty much go 30+ kills every game.

The one where you said "But THEN.... 7/3/40 = S- " shows how it's based on everything that happens in the game and is compared to how well you did. Since it was 72 to 47 total kills, it shows you had a 65% on the Kill Participation there (which is great). You also had a fairly decent vision score having done 29 wards placed, 3 Control Wards and 3 wards killed (though the JG out did you there with 46 placed, 29 control wards and 4 wards killed) . Your CS was pretty decent as it should be at least 40 or higher endgame for a support.

So there's just a bit more to look at when pushing the grades further. You have to look at the overall gamescore, where your score is going to fall in that final KDA of the full team vs team. Where your vision score is, the amount of objectives you've helped take / cs you have overall (so total gold you'll have gotten in the whole match)

You can hard carry your pathetic ADC and try to spread around as much damage as possible, while also doing support things.

The first time i ever played Morg, i got an S+ on something like 10/3 as support, and it was the most stupidly easy S+ i have ever seen (except maybe the AD garen sup, but that was a weird case). The second time i played Morg on SR (next season), i got an S+ as well.

Learning from the player MudInTheWater would be a good idea. He holds the record for highest Morgana mastery on the NA server.
