My league wouldn't open (OSX)

So I'm posting this as I've found no fix for it yet, my league launcher wouldn't open yesterday or tonight, all it would do it say league launcher has unexpectedly crashed, I have a temporary fix, go to Finder>Applications>League Of Legends>Show Package Contents>Contents>lol>LeagueClient it works but only if you open the client, hopefully this will be patched soon as it is very annoying, goodluck to anyone who was having trouble with this :)
