Premades are being penalized in the honor system?

Honor FAQ

Quote: Can I game the system and boost to level 5 by constantly playing with a premade and honoring each other every game?

Nice idea. We had it too. So we specifically built Honor so potential exploits like this give you (and your friend) literally no benefit.

The problem is that some of us play mostly with premades. I usually play with a premade of 3-5 for 90% of my games. With no way for enemies to honor my premade or me how are we supposed to climb the honor "ladder". I don't really care that all players that are not negative will slowly climb even without honor. Riot is sending mixed signals here: On one side they are pushing premades with missions and clubs but on the other hand we have THIS to deal with. Anyone up to clear this out?

I mean, the point of the system is to be honorable to strangers, and not just to trade honors with premades.

But even with premades you can get one or 2 guys to Level 5 and from then you change who is going to be honored. I think the system works faster if you just x4 honor a single person and then change after doing that with the same person until he leveled up. (We got a friend of mine to lvl5 for honoring him for tilt-proof after every game as a group because he rages like shit a lot xD) And always remember that all 5 players should honor for the bonus.

Basically it's to prevent exploits, as they said.

You guys still get a benefit if all 5 players give an honor, so it's not like you're totally out. It just means the single honors given do not have any weight (if given to a premade).

That's not a problem, you just don't get to abuse the system, darn.

There's no benefit to giving only a single honor to a premade ally. However, it counts if 2+ people do it.
