Idea to make LCS/Pro Play more interesting

Morning everybody,

Just finished watched yet another pro game filled with Sejuani, Rakan, Xayah, Zac, Camille, etc etc etc entertaining but after a while it gets pretty boring watching the same champions play out the same games over and over.

Then an idea occurred to me, what if champions could only be played one time in a "best of" series? If Galio is taken mid game one, he is removed from all other games in the series. Obviously this wouldnt work in the current one game format of some of the reasons but I think it would force a whole new level of strategy? Do you utilize your best champions up front? Do you play the meta then potentially surrender stronger champions to the opposing team later? Teams would have to make draft choices game one thinking about the consequences it would have in games 2 3 and even 5 potentially.

The other benefit would be forcing utilization of more uncommon champions on the rift, the "non-meta". When is the last time we saw yi, heimer, trundle, quinn... I would LOVE to watch some pro play Zed.

Anyway, just my two cents, let me know what ya think!

Best of 5 = 100 champions

Like you'd actually get to a point where if one team decided, say, lets ban 5 ADCs. You do this twice and you've pretty much shifted the meta into a kill lane or a mage farm lane. As interesting as that could be it'd be very fiesta focus and it'd really, really hurt players that play around certain well trained pocket pick champs. That and it makes learning the metagame kinda irrelevant since it only matters in the first game then it progressively gets more random and fiesta.
