My Bronze Heart Will Live On

I've been playing league for just over a year, and am close to pushing myself out of Bronze with some sub-par Zoe and Sylas play. What's the one main tip that you would give to weaker players looking to improve? What tip/trick/strategy should I learn to push myself out of Bronze?
