I just want the Puppy Warwick Icon and Ward skin. I don't care about the event or gemstones. To get both it's 2750RP. Almost as much as a ultimate skin. When just the icon and ward would just be 890. What kind of ridiculousness is this?
Because despite LoL being the highest grossing F2P game, Riot thinks they don't have enough money yet. So their greed played up and they designed these bundles.
Really, I wonder how many people actually buy into this stuff that they deside to keep these bundles going. I assume a lot more players would buy the content if it was sold seperately. Disgusting business practice.

Just stop funding bad developers. If you see something "Iffy" in the store just don't buy it. If enough people avoid these kinda things eventually it will change.

Not like they have some eSports events to bring it millions every year for themselves while putting minimal effort into the actual game or anything.
The icon and ward would actually be way more since in the bundles the Icons are priced at 450 RP
It's basic economics. This is a strategy that will make Riot a lot more money than if they sold it separately. If riot can't sell any of it though, they won't do it in the future.
Exercise your most basic consumer right and just don't buy it. NOT buying things is what puts consumers in control of the economy, you really don't need to buy an icon you'll use for 2 months at a ridiculously inflated price. Once you do, they'll keep putting them out at inflated prices because it's just that much more profitable. Riot is making more money, that's their job. If you don't like it, than do the best thing you possibly can do about it: Nothing.
