Would you rather be autofilled into the class that's the most squishy, lowest defensive options, lowest utility, and barely edging out as the class with the best damage due to Riot's shifting the meta to "more one shots = fun to watch!"

Amen. No other role gives me so many heartattacks and makes me as paranoid as playing ADC. It is fun, but by Janna, it is stressful too.

ADC just feels binary to me honestly. I stopped playing it because it feels like more of a coinflip than top tbh. You either have a decent support, get a good lead, and curbstomp the other team into the floor, or you have a crap support, or you yourself are the weak link, and you basically feel useless for 27 minutes.

Add to that the part where your support and jungle can pretty much single handedly take your advantage and wipe their ass with it, leaving you to deal with all the shit, and you have yourself "ADC 2018"...which is why I got bored/tired of it.

Marksman as a class have lost their niche as "pure, unadulterated late game damage dealers". This is mostly due to Riot aiming to shorten games, although the meta shifts of "less defense, more damage" are definitely the other major factor.

Objectives have become secondary in League when it is inherently an objective-based game. Riot needs to wake up and start fixing their shit because Asia's player base won't be dependable long term.

actually I like to fill into adc because the enemy adc is often dumb
