When League of Legends Dies

What will happen? I was thinking about this today. If league dies, what does this open up? Could Riot Games take what they have from League, and apply it to something new, to live up to their name being plural? I believe it was said that Riot didn't want to make an mmo or rpg based off of League due to them overlapping with Leage itself. They would be splitting their playerbase, rather than adding onto it.

Although I do think a LoL based mmorpg would be great, what if they instead created something entirely new, something that goes as big as League did when if was at its prime? That would be amazing, and the people they used for making LoL wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. They could put their resources into something new and refreshing.

Anyway, thought this was interesting and felt the need to share it.

Despite what people are saying, I'm pretty certain the game isn't "dying." Per se. I believe if anything that the game will drop down to a smaller player base until Riot does something to bring people back. But as far as the game being "Dead" I don't think that will happen anytime soon. It's still quite a relevant game, despite the complainers. XD However, I would totally play an MMORPG or RPG or anything Riot made that was League based. It would be pretty awesome.

As of today, I will be a part of the "dead game" meme. Muahahaha! Quit this piece of trash with the latest changes.

Ah, a League of Legends based MMO where I can just stare at all my favorite waifu champions all day.

Problem with LoL is there are too many champions for there to be an RPG, everyone would want their favorites in the game and have some form of long story.

I always thought it would be cool for Riot to release a Street Fighter-style beat 'em up featuring League characters. It wouldn't take anywhere near as much work as a full MMORPG, and would be different enough from the main League game to not cannibalise its sales.
