Problem connecting to games using mobile hotspot

Using my cell phone's mobile hotspot to connect to the internet. I tried and tried and tried to connect to every game mode then gave up and started trying to connect to customs. Client, champ select, runes, and chat works perfectly but the problem is I am never connecting to game. The champ select timer ends and after a long pause the client switches to "Currently in-game" then after 1-2 seconds it changes to the "Reconnect" button. After clicking the Reconnect button repeatedly over the course of several minutes I am convinced that it serves as nothing more than a placebo for people with less common forms of internet connection. Can you tell me why this is happening and what I can do to actually load into a game of League?
