Fizz received a huge nerf where instead of killing you as fast as he can hit W+Q after ending his E, he has to use E to be untargetable until his artificial damage timer runs out
Last I checked, Fizz wasn't near perma-banned outside LCS irrelevant of strength or viability. Yasuo is.

You mean like that his burst is tied to his shark, that you can flash his Q or that you can poke him with ease?
1: Thats because fizz has Mana and shit, Yasuo literally has no interaction if he just gets a hint of sustain, Because then he only needs to back to get items or anything.
2: Also, Fizz, While having an invulnerable state and several other advantages, Gets Really fucked over by burst, Where as Yasuo Literally Has a passive that says "Fuck beurst"

his 3rd Q now stops on 1st champion hit but applies the aoe to all targets around them
his shield passive now regenerates at 10% its current rate BUT critical strikes against enemy champions restore 10% of the bar

Because he's "frustrating to play against..." lol. Half the champs in this game are frustrating to play against, this is just the champ that gets hated on because it's cool to hate Yasuo. When Riot inevitably fucks up my main, I'll upload the link of me destroying my laptop.
I mean he is a volatile champion. He's always either overpowered as shit or weak but ungodly annoying.
His playerbase is also considerably more toxic than most other champions (I believe Riven is still statistically the most likely to AFK and the most consistently reported for Negative Attitude) and there is too much of a difference between a good Yasuo and a bad one.
He should never even have been made in the first place. He's a very, very unhealthy design. Everything we hated about champions who came out at the time was all added to his kit at the same time, then they released every damn champion in the next year and a half with a knock-up just to keep him flexible in draft pick.
He's in every single Blind pick game because he's permabanned in Draft and Ranked simply because people don't want to deal with his shit. Even his VOICE annoys me sometimes.
Well, they have tried to make slight fixes to Fizz multiple time throughout the seasons, but I don't think they took an assassin's risk vs reward approach in mind. I'm pretty sure the guys don't have anyone playing or understanding ap assassins in the team, except for Gypsylord who went to another team pretty quickly.
