Cloud Drake needs a buff

Let's be honest here, who here sees cloud drake and says "man we need to prioritize that dragon, it makes a huge amount of difference in the game". Compared to the other dragons, the cloud drake does not give much of a help unless you want to rotate (slightly) faster, not to mention that you lose the buff when you are in combat. What I've been thinking is that cloud drake could use something in addition to the movement speed buff like say tenacity (3%/6%/10%). This would give cloud drake a huge amount of prioritization.

It doesn't have to be tenacity, but I believe something needs to be added.

Let's face it, with Cloud drake I'm just like, "oh the opponents are going for it? quick! push while they take the shitty buff that the game provides!"

Maybe % MS Buff Instead of FLAT.

Looking at having a base of 335 MS here 4.4% 350 ms 8.9% 365 ms 13.4% 380 ms

Stats as of now 15/30/45 FLAT MS If you have basic boots you would have 360 MS.
4% increase 375 ms 8.3% increase 390 ms 12.5 % increase 405 ms

If you had full boots (380) (Not swift/mobis). it would be a 3.9% 395 ms 7.8% 410 ms 11.8% 423 ms*

5%/10%/15% No boot (335) - base boots (360) - full boots (380) 351 ms - 378 ms -399 ms 368 ms - 396 ms - 417ms* 385 ms - 414 ms - 432 ms*

4%/8%/12% No Boots (335) - Base boots (360) - Full Boots (380) 348 ms - 374 ms - 395 ms 361 ms - 388 ms - 410 ms 375 ms - 403 ms - 423 ms*

*But once it goes past 415 it is there is a change of math to get it I did not include math for Elder dragon, but it is a 50% increase.

why not just give is slow resist? i mean wind... out of combat speed with in combat slow resist?

What if the bonus was changed to give half the out of combat value when in combat? That way teams do get some benefit for combat, and MS in combat is really important, and it keeps with the movement theme without adding some other random element to it.

The tenacity suggestion falls right in line with the function the cloud dragons serves. Sounds perfect to me.

It's very hard to buff Cloud Drake --- move speed is one of the most powerful effects to get in the game.

They went SUPER tame with the first iteration, probably because of how strong 5% MS (Drake 3) actually was and having that be possibly 15% would just make some champions unplayable.

absafuckinglutely not

Just because you get a hard on and can't stop engaging every 10 seconds because you have no sense of what you could be doing with that buff doesnt mean its underpowered. 1% is already silly.

and no, WE DO NOT NEED MORE SOURCES OF TENACITY IN THIS GAME, IT STACKS MULTIPLICATIVELY

Any movement speed you get will always be good, even if it only applies when your out of combat.

Fire drake > Water drake > Cloud drake >= Stone drake imho

Elewd5/28/2016, 1:06:02 AM2 votes

the cloud drake is probably one of the best drakes for mid/top/jungle early on in the game. that amount of movespeed to roam down to another lane is insane, im scared riot will buff it and make it far scarier.

I see Dragon, I kill Dragon. Most of the time I don't care what type it is, as long as I get to kill it and it doesn't go to the enemy.

It has a benefit though... it gives gold!

Cloud drake does not need a buff because there needs to be a dragon that your team can give up without being at a large disadvantage. That just happens to be cloud drake.

Whomp3r5/29/2016, 12:27:10 AM1 votes

i totally agree cloud drake is definitly the least effective dragon to have

Holynova5/29/2016, 6:36:15 AM1 votes

Increase your max cd cap by 2%/4%/6% , cloud speed, so faster cds would make it a must .

Dark Volton5/29/2016, 10:04:07 AM1 votes

agreed. I main jg, and when I see that the dragon is a cloud dragon, I find myself thinking "well shit what else can i get". Getting cloud drake is more like a chore than a buff, as a jungler you think "what dragon is that? Cloud. UGHHHHHH, well poop now i have to risk my life to get this shitty dragon out of the way so that i might get a good one" IE anything else.

When I think of cloud drag I think of movement speed for some reason. It would stick to the rotation them but also help with picking people off when you get the movement speed spikes.

Just a thought.
