Evelynn's Pink Tinted Stealth Overlay is ANNOYING

Hello, I'm an Evelynn main and I've been playing her since late season 3. She's my absolute favorite champion in this game with probably several thousand games under my belt in total.

I however can not stand to play her right now because of the change to the visual on her stealth, creating a very irritating red or pink hue over your entire screen whenever you're stealth.

It's hard to tell because of different locations but the old stealth had a mild dimming to the screen which was more than enough visual aid for us to know when we popped backed into stealth. We also had an auditory aid as well (which is now removed).

The new stealth overlay may be good for a champ with very short stealth since it will let you know for sure when you're in stealth, but for a champ who spends at least half the game in stealth it is INCREDIBLY obnoxious. Rito pls.

Eve main since S2 here. 3k+ games on her

New pink overlay is much, much better. It's very clear when your passive is active.

I kinda like it tbh, and it plays a sound when you enter someone's vision radius.

Pretty sure it's everyone that goes into Camouflage now. Twitch has the same thing. I can't speak for true stealth mechanics.

100% agree with everything the above quoted is saying.

At least make it an option that we can disable.

This so much, it actually makes me feel disconnected from the game like i am watching a match instead of playing one.

so in short in the options menu riot add a eve main toggle that disables this effect.

Yeah it fucking sucks please at least have a video option to disable post-processing effects or whatever. Spending half the game with that purple overlay borderline gives me a headache.

Oh my god I agree with this so much. I used to play Evelynn all the time before preseason but now I just can't stand her. It feels like I'm playing Doom Bots for 90% of the game.

Yes, this was the first thing I noticed in the preseason (when I went straight into a custom game to see if Eve could still jungle.)

It needs to be either fixed, or at least made an option!

The sad thing is, they probably won't fix this. The reason we lost the VFX on stealth/destealth is because they rewrote camouflage from the ground up. So it would take actual work to change it. And I doubt they're down for that.

As Teemo main I can feel you. Since he has this, uhh..., "real" invisibility (I think it's camouflage, but then I have lost track of what RIOT means with each term gameplay-wise) the screen turns into this bright blue. The odd thing is that I get a bit dizzy when it comes up, just as if the screen is falling towards me for 0.25 seconds. It sounds so odd.
