Emotes and how they should be used...

Emotes were a great addition to the game and could have been implemented in a way that encouraged players to keep it friendly and sportsmanlike. Without regulation though (in its current state) Riot has actually encouraged just another level of toxicity on top of the already large mass it is.

Emotes should have been introduced with stipulations for using, and make them automated. This way all players know that it will not be spammed, and the emote was earned in some form or fashion by performing certain actions.

It feels as if emotes were just another idea stolen from another game to make more money (horribly overpriced I might add), they should be a way to create a more fun and light-hearted environment. God knows this game needs it.
