Why I believe trading has the highest pick order

I believe that when #1 trades with #5 they should get the lanes they want for the overall good of the team. For instance when I was first pick I wanted to play trynd top, but I know I would get counterpicked so I asked to trade and #5 said he wanted to trade. He wanted annie which is a pretty safe first pick and everything was cool, until the 3rd guy said he wanted top. I tried to explain to him that for the overall interest of the team me and #5 should have pick order. He said that was BS and then dodged. What do you guys think? When trading who gets pick order?

list order is what i think, tradings all fun and games but if you want top and 5th wants mid, i'm going to probable go mid. It's my best lane and just cause you dont wanna be counter picked doesnt mean i'm going to let a guy who is a pick beneath me shove me in a lane i dont do well at.
