Prelims

There should be an option to skip prelims and go right into bronze 5. Would've been better than wasting my time winning 7 out of my 10 games and getting bronze 5 anyway. Thanks Rito

What was your mmr when you did them O_o. Did you like troll yourself in preseason playing jungle janna or something?

I can say that in my case, I was Bronze IV, but with a rising MMR due to about a 70% win rate since the new UI came out. I also went 7/10 in the prelims, and got the boot to b5, 0 points.

Given that, I also would have liked a message like, "Attention! Your rank is so low, that no matter how well you do, you will be in bronze V. Would you like to skip prelims, and just start in bronze V?"

If you're bronze, you deserve to be there. You are missing key fundamentals from the game.

That's pretty rude. I've improved a lot, and had very good prelim games. I might not be ready for challenger, but certainly I'm not playing in a way that I should be punished.
