What will it take for you to listen to us riot?

With the word released that Sona's rework/death was not stopped at all it made me wonder why not? I went and looked on the pbe forums and also talked to my friend who plays on the pbe everyone is saying no. I have not run across one person who likes it and the entire community that plays her and has been very straight forward saying that this is awful and we don't want this and yet they push it anyway. She is one of my favorite champions that I love completely and I can understand wanting to make her better and more played but this is not the way. She is still played alot in ranked and from my own point she was my main last season and the second most played this season on top of I see quite a few other people playing her. Finally to my question that I wish a person from riot would answer: What do we have to do change this? Is there any chance that this can be changed and if so what do we need to do? Most of the community saying no is not enough for you so I would like to know what is.
