MMR rankings and the such

Why isn't MMR (hidden rating) Based on how well you do individually? Would it not seem appropriate to give somebody a HIDDEN RATING based on how well THEY PERFORM AS A PLAYER? Take it from the stance of somebody who mains support, plays fairly well, even on most losses and is still in bronze. How am I supposed to get out of bronze in solo queue if I am soloing as supp, I play extremely well but my team is S^%$? how is this at all fair? I don't understand the dynamics of MMR or the ranking system at all for that matter. I Started out in S4 last season and slowly fell to B4 (ELO HELL) and could not climb out no matter how hard I tried. The reason for my falling into bronze in the first place is because of unfortunate queueing with troll picks, people who basically have the mindset of "It's bronze, who cares? So I'm going to #$^% up your day, YOUR RANK AND MMR." and people who leave, AFK or "Lag out". Which, don't get me wrong I live in Alaska and I am very aware to what lag is and I know that connection issues are a problem.

But why should anyone truly trying to climb, especially good players who's "MMR/HIDDEN RATING"(Which has been mostly tarnished by people being trolls.) have to deal with that BS?

I have a full time job that has After hours attached to it also, so I get called in from time to time. I also am working very hard at changing my life in a lot of different ways, Psychology, eating habits, home life, etc. usually have the ability to play a couple of games a day if I am lucky and maybe all/half day on the weekend if I don't have anything pressing that I need to take care of. Where is your system design for people like me? People who have a normal life and don't have the opportunity/luxury to play 12-16 hours a day like professional streamers/gamers.

This is where I(and many others, even people I know who are silver/gold/plat) think RIOT Truly needs to reform their system. Is there any chance of this EVER happening? If not, why?

In the end, the ranking system sucks for solo queue. I understand that this is a TEAM game(Stop using that excuse, because that is all it is), you already have platforms for team play (RANKED 5v5/FLEX QUEUE) Why not work on changing your ranking system for solo queue? If it isn't something you're already working on, your community asks you " Why, Riot? ".

Thanks for hearing me out,

Minimoogle

I got out of bronze soloing in flex queue during the preseason.

The MMR rating has to do with wins and wins have to do with YOUR skill as an individual player.

and YES you can carry the game as a support.

I always thought mmr depended on your gameplay as an individual it makes more sense to me, cuz sometimes it's not your fault if your team is feeding, afk, trolling or just naturally bad..... Kills don't matter it's the level of skill.

The system generally rolls you back a tier from your prior season. The idea is if you were gold in s6 and placed silver for s7 then it should be easy getting back to gold

honestly I've come to realize most challenger and diamond players do have a advantage. Most of them are either young kids with tons of free time, or adults with set schedules that allow them have proper gaming time.

most of them also have very good Internet and play on 100 fps with 40 or lower ping.

have you ever seen a diamond streamer with ping over 50? I sure havent.

that being said these players most defiantly deserve their ranks. but it's near impossible for us to catch up, with such chaotic schedules and shitty ping.

ping being the biggest issue imo.
