Ok, so being support and having an dc ADC, what do I do? do i stay bot and try to farm the best I can and try not to overextend and feed? or do i go top and support our other teammate. I've run into this issue a few too many times and need advice on what I should do.

Depends on which support you are playing, things like blitz/thresh/tahm/morg can stay bottom and farm pretty safely under tower, you can also potentially get a kill or two. If you are playing a support like sona/janna/raka/nami you probably want to go help your team out, maybe follow the jungler around and do 2 man ganks, clear out bottom than roam some more. Its tough to say but generally it depends on your champion.

Ask your jungle if they want the lane.

If no, farm the lane defensively, focus on never extending and freezing the lane as much as possible. If you're an AP Support, build wave clear (Flat AP, CDR, Luden's Echo). If you're a Tank Support, build siege control (Zz'rot Portal, Banner of Command). The goal is to hold the lane as long as possible.

If they want the lane, play like a duo lane, though a tad more aggressively than normal. Junglers trade relatively well early game in my experience, and they tend to fall off where carries get strong, so you need to take advantage of the moment and fight while your Jungler-now-bot-laner is stronger than the enemy carry.

it matters, ive been in cases like this where i get fed or atleast hold lane i would say leave lane but if they stay bot then u lose a lane which will lead to a lose so try to hold lane or try to get game into a end like stage when your team goes all mid or constant 3 man gank bot to control it and make bot lane scared gl
