It's Safe To Say What Meta It Is Right Now

A new meta is shaping, and the champions who shape that Meta are Marksmen. With the changes to the already existing items like Statikk Shiv and Phantom Dancer, and with a few new items like Rapid Firecannon and Sterak's Gage, Marksmen are becoming stronger and stronger. However, a Marksman Meta most likely won't happen as there are some obvious counters to them, like Crowd Control, Tanks, and the Asssassins that are getting more and more popular because of The Duskblade of Drak'thar, but they sure as hell can shape it. Currently, I would say it's the Bruiser Meta, and, from what we can see being played, I think I may be right. The fact that they are good against Assassins too is just a plus, considering that they are dominating in the mid lane. Up on top, the item that shapes the meta is probably Titanic Hydra and, arguably, Sterak's Gage. Even after the nerfs, Fiora remained a strong pick because of her new, bruiser style build. We also have a whole new pick, Tank Akali, who also came true just because of these two items. The place where I think the Bruisers are even more popular is the Jungle. Up there, in higher elo, they fall off a bit, but, Junglers that can go Devourer into Guinsoo's Rageblade, then into Sterak's Gage and Titanic Hydra, and then go full tank, are seriously strong. Xin Zhao and Master Yi are probably the ones who work the best with it, though there are other picks who work good with it too. Fiora has been dominating the competitive play and has also been played quite a lot in all elos. Tank Akali didn't get any play in LCS, but she has been played even in Challenger. The AA Devourer Junglers have seen a lot of play in almost every elo except for Master+, as it's a really bad item up there and has been avoided. All in all, the current Meta is:_ If you can go tanky with it, it's gonna work_ AKA a Bruiser Meta. I may be wrong though, so leave a comment to tell me why. See ya later!
