Can we have a proper place for wards in the items spot?

Well, this happened several times I really need to ward somewhere but can't 'cause all the places are occupied by items of course, so why don't we give wards a proper place? If I'm not support I cannot ward anymore? (I prefer modify the oracle rather than sticking with the yellow wards).
