Trundle needs changes

Trundles kit is a bit outdated and his story and kit would allow for many cool things, that would help him, so here are some ideas for trundle:

increase his passive by 1% so its 3%/4%/5%/6%/7%,

make Trundles Q Heal him for 5% of his missing health( or a fixed amount based on level) and increase the slow to 1 sec ( i mean he bites something out of his enemy, so healing from that meat would be nice and it would help him to make better use of his heal boost from his W) and maybe let his Q deal 5% of the current health of his enemy with minimum dmg of 10-15 ( since it is his only damaging spell he can use thats not an ult)

give his w a 5-10% slow ( it is a frozen Domain, so it should give at least some sort of debuff to enemys, also helps trundle to stick to enemy especially with the Approatch Velocity Rune)

or do something with his magical club of true ice, they could do something with it like give the enemy a slow/cripple or let it deal magic ice damage, would wor well with his kit since he is aa based

Actually: Give Volis passive to Trundle.

I play Voli and on my opinion it doesn't really fit to Volis Playstyle. He will get a new Passive in his upcoming rework anyway.
If you know about the typical Troll fantasy from fairy tales and legends and also from Dungeons&Dragons, then you know that they can life reg. You can't kill them because they will life reg every time. Only way to kill a troll is with fire (or acid).

So in this case it's even accurate that Ignite (fire) beats heal/reg in LoL.

That's actually brilliant, also synergizes with his W and the fact he gets defensive stats with his R. Flavor win and a gameplay win.

My problem with that is that Trundle could end up as an unkillable split-pusher because of the other parts of his kit, and the other team would need to build Grievous Wounds even more. I like the idea, though.

Trundles passive is already heal-based which synergizes with the rest of his kit.

Also: Volis Passive isn't that strong, believe me. It's more like a "save my ass on the last 2% of HP while I run out of fight". You can't use it like "yeah i am a raidboss now and fight you all while my passive heals me up to Oblivion!"

That is actually the reason why I said it doesn't fit to Volis Playstyle. Voli is an all-in bear. He often engages and needs a sustain-tool which gives him Deff at the start of a fight not such a pussy reg where u need to run out of fight so it can actually heal you and then go back in fight with ~40% HP. That doesn't feel right. He needs something like the old rune Courage of the Colossus.

His kit isn't outdated, he's just been overnerfed. He was played a lot in high elo and competitive play just last year. Riot gutted him when they nerfed his Q, E, and raised the price of Tiamat, which is one of the first damage items he typically buys.

Defensive scaling is also completely terrible right now, for a champion that heavily relies on defensive itemization being at least somewhat decent.

It's so bad that pretty much every juggernaut builds item 3053 (a damage item) as their core survivability, as doing anything less will not help them turn the tides.

Add to the fact that champions like this are strong right now Vayne Yasuo Riven , whom he's always had trouble dealing with.

Then every mage is building this bs item 3135 item 3165 which let's them nuke you all game, while simultaneously shutting down your sustain from at least half a screen away. It's so frustrating.
