I think it is incredibly frustrating to a lot of people going through promo games to find someone being autofilled into a role that isn't their primary/secondary choice.
I'm sure others have already voiced this.

Zenturian4 votesThe problem with Auto Fill is Riots making a choice for you instead of offering one. If you choose not to participate in Auto Fill from your lobby, you'll wait longer. That's your opportunity cost and should be your decision. If you have a Duo or team depending on the Queue, everyone should be able to individually check whether you're willing. If you want to wait longer to play something you enjoy, that should be your decision.

Blanchimont2 votesAuto fill is just disappointing as a whole. Promotion games are bad enough, but being auto filled into a random role just makes it even worse. This is the same problem where they prioritize queue times over matchmaking again.

Cavesloth4 votesYes but your teammates can be, this is what hes complaining about. Not him getting autofilled, someone else on his team so he's not losing lane but other teammates are feeding hard and sucking because they got autofilled.

I was duoing last night with a friend, we were both in our promotional series and he was autofilled to mid when he had support and bottom as primary/secondary. First time I have ever seen it happen, might be a bug but yeah autofilled in a promotional series.

Very curious about this since I know there is a small LP penalty normally for Q dodge.

Mariel1411 votesTrouble is, someone ELSE on your team could be autofilled. An ADC with an autofilled supp is in for a rough time.
My brother had several ranked games where his autofilled support decided 'screw it' and just played like they had gotten the lane they wanted - stealing creep and kills, not bothering to protect him, it sucked.
