Shyvana Runes

First off, I take it all back...loving the new rune system!

Now, onto theory crafting...I'm a long time Shyvana player, and previously I would spec her for attack speed and survivability through runes. You need attack speed for early game clear, and to keep you W running as long as possible. You need armor and magic resist to become a late game beast.

Because attack speed is so important (I tend not to build more than one attack speed item on Shyv), I'm thinking Precision is the proper tree. My real question is: should you go for Lethal Tempo (gaining a bunch of attack speed in combat), or Press the Attack (giving you potentially devastating single target damage.)

I'm leaning toward Lethal Tempo, but haven't had much of a chance to test it out.

What do ya'll think?!

(I'm also torn between Legend: Alacrity and Legend: Tenacity, though with Unflinching and Conditioning as secondary runes, I'm leaning to Alacrity.)

Press the attack with AA+Q+Titanic Hydra combo, build bloodrazor and Titanic Hydra, followed by tank items.

I go for Dark Harvest. Being a melee with a dive engage, you will get to use dark harvest (and with a boost to lethality) more often as you slaughter the enemy team. Plus you gain good stacks from jungle and ganking.

I agree with Bloodrazor/Titanic Hydra in either case, but I'd love to see the numbers crunched on Lethal Tempo vs Press the Attack. (No idea how to go about testing that...math is not my forte.) That said, I suspect Lethal Tempo would amount to more damage with the extended W time and extra Qs.

I think Dark Harvest is a mistake, mostly because you need the extra 18% attack speed from taking Precision as your primary tree. This makes up for all the attack speed you "lose" in comparison to the old rune/mastery set up.
