Can more champions be designed around skill?

I'm going to get a lot of flame for this thread but there simply is not a lot of champions that require skill. It's hard to find a lane where a 1V1 Is considered fair and the champ isn't considered broken. An example of a fun skill lane would be Fiora Vs. Riven . In league, this is one of my most fun matchups that i always look forward to because its just so much fun. There so much room for outplays, mistakes, and comebacks that make it just a blast to play. Fiora Vs. Pantheon Simply isn't fun at all. You have to play like a bitch all laning phase and play under tower untill you "Outscale". There should not be a set of champions that are lane bullies or champions that beat you just because they hit level 6 (COUGH Akali COUGH Tryndamere ). That's horse shit. Design champions around rewarding you for being a good player rather than rewarding you based on the time in game.

Pantheon requires much skill actually. No, he doesn't take a lot of mechanical skill but skill in the way of knowing how/when to get ahead because late game he's utter shit.

Fiora and Riven take skill? Against each other, maybe, but against others, they usually win, I mean Fiora is still banned in LCS.

Not every champion has to be a mechanical masterpiece. Some simpler champions can exist. The only reason you hate pantheon is because his design is old and toxic, not because he requires skill. It's equally frustrating to lane against Pantheon as Garen
