Ok , So I saw riot comment on a post that talked about how riot forgot about champions that were good but fell out of meta like yorick or taric, riot commented that they only had a few developers and couldn't get to everyone all the time but, then they come out with updating tristana and she is a pretty popular adc and champion all around so my thinking actions speak louder than words so riot what gives?
Unfortunately it benefits riot more (in both time and money) to focus on the more often played/popular champions. Giving them visual updates or new skins means more people use RP to buy them. Also more popular champions have larger player bases support/critiquing the changes made by Riot. For instance when they finally did change Cassiopeia they messed up big time since (In my opinion) they didn't have as many people telling riot what they wanted from the change.
Sadly guys like 
etc. won't receive priority since it does't make sense to Riot, as a business to invest time and money into updating them when relatively few people play them. Instead they focus on LCS BIG PLAY$ champions like trust for instance. (Any champion in the competitive scene immediately gets all rito's attention) again because they are a company and making money is their pen-ultimate goal.
Well, tbh I didn't want riot doing ANYTHING to my champ...last time Riot gave attention to my poor 
he lost his silence...so, yeah, forgetting about a champ is NOT a bad thing for ppl playing that champ.
So what you are saying here is. . . in order to get my Yorick rework, beyond just making a bunch of posts about it with thought out changes and such, I will need to go "pro" make it huge, make some crazy plays with him and then they'll rework him? Hmm... unfortunate, there was a time when Tristana was one of the least played ADCs in the game, before they "fixed" her jump.
