Games are exclusively lost by auto-fills / first-timers, why does Riot allow it?

First of all, Riot is a great company - this is not a hate towards you guys, really love what you're doing, but damn.

Edit: This is crazy, I'm on a loss rampage due to people always getting champs they never played in ranked before. They exclusively lost their lane and made the enemy go 4-0. Riot, I love you bby, but please. Yup. Lost the game. 0 chance to appeal.

Once again, auto-fill Brand support with auto-filled WW jungle. Please just get me out.

Overwatch disables new heroes for ranked in the first 2 weeks. Alternatively, Riot shouldn't allow people to play with champions they haven't played a few games before in ranked.

Everyone has champions, regardless of if you're just starting out or not. The level 30 fiesta is not enough for people to learn things, so let them play draft and get a few points on a champion, learn the ropes and not just allow them to play like that.

I'm playing right now on my plat 2 account and legit all games are lost due to autofills / first timers. Alternatively, my games are won when people play champions they know.

Please.

lvl 5 mastery should be a requirement to play a champion in ranked imo

I think it's a bit rough, but definitely about 10-15 games before they let you hit ranked, you can't make the lowbies only play 1 champ they have "skill on", they'd lose a lot of money on it.

just imagine how long it would be for newers accounts to get to ranked games ? you already need about 20 champions to go to there, and you would need 20*mastery 5 ? lul

Would you rather have a fresh lvl 30, 1st time on ranked, on your team, against some1 who plays the game for couple of years?

What about all those alt accounts though? Why should someone have to play so many normal games just to play ranked with a champion?

If you can play ranked on your main, there is no reason to play on alt. The only reason you would play ranked on alt is: -u got banned --> riot doesn't want you to play their game

Not necessarily. Sure, it starts like it, but on an alt account, I can play more freely without caring as much about wins and losses and KDAs and tilting about it. It's such a more fun experience. I tilt a lot on my main account if I get bad teammates etc, while I don't really care on alt accounts.

I meant I don't care as much if I win or lose, because it's my alt account. I do tryhard, and I do wanna win, but even if I lose, I don't really care, so I don't tilt.

I mean.. Sometimes the people in their chosen roles are just bad, or don't know how to fight the enemy champion. I played a game recently with someone who had no idea how Kennen worked. Didn't understand his movement speed ability, why his passive stunned, why his W always hit, how his ult worked. NEVER encountered him before.

It's more of an issue of people playing champs they've never played before in a gamemode that is inherently supposed to be competitive. It's annoying for someone to play their best champ and try hard to win, and then have a player who plays ranked and first times a champion because 'I feel like it'. The current system promotes this kind of behavior. I really think a 10k mastery point requirement on champions in Ranked would really help solve this issue quite a bit.

It's all about money, champion's release skin will sell way less if they were disabled in ranked when first released.

Because when I have a game like http://prntscr.com/jgvwei , I can safely say that despite 3 of my teammates being autofilled but the support and I, and the enemy team having NOT A SINGLE AUTOFILLED PLAYER, maybe just maybe it’s autofills fault that we were unevenly matched.

To be COMPLETELY FAIR, auto fill has always been a thing, just under a old name(last pick). With the new system at least people are still far more likely to get their main or secondary roles(Mid Mains who played before the new queue system know exactly what i mean). As far as the second part "First-Timers" yea i get that a lot and agree with you there.

The big problem i am finding with ranked is they are matching people new to a league or unranked with people veteran to a league.
