So I wanted to try Evelynn, but her passive is weird. Invisibility is completely useless if champions can see her anyway. Only usefulness her passive has is the mana regen, so you might as well just remove the invisibility and keep the mana regen.
So tell me, why is her invisibility useful?

KidSpectre2 votesHer invisibility is so strong she has received several nerfs and reworks because of it (among other reasons). They invented a new ward on the PBE called Mandrake Ward which is essentially an "Anti-Eve" beacon. It pings the map whenever an enemy enters or exits a certain radius, stealthed or not.
In practice, her stealth provides two major functions. 1. She can avoid being seen by normal wards when roaming and ganking. 2. She can position unseen at the edge of vision and basically stalk people until she finds an opening; arguably the one trait that defines her as an assassin.
