Team fighting as Lulu top

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on playing full ap Lulu. I picked up lulu recently and I really like her laning phase it just seems to me that I am never doing enough during team fights. Im not sure if I should be playing like a support or playing like an apc. If anyone has and basic tips from playing her that would be much appreciated :)

She is meant to be a support so she's best as a support but a lot of people like to take her mid anyway, you can do what you like I guess.

Tanky Lulu is also fun some times, or ADC Lulu, just try whatever with her.
