I don't know if its happening to you but almost evry time i am in a game if i play adc for example, my autoattack misses the target, you can see the bolt go off but the damage doesn't. Its been around for quite a while and it can impact a game..
this is probably because you moved at the last second and the autoattack just got reset,it happens only with low atk spd so when you start to build atk spd you shouldn't have any problem. If you are referring on kalista her auto is made to miss if she loses sight of enemies
i noticed that few times. an auto attack should never miss. but I've missed a nasus Q. and a modr q beecause the enemy flash or got away quick but it should still do damage even though i didnt
It means you're moving too shortly after starting your attack.
