It's impossible to maintain good stats and play bad

Okay so people keep saying all kinds of BS when people come up about how matchmaking sucks:

That it's the Dunning-Kruger effect. That you're playing bad as well and you don't notice. That it's only a few games that suffer from bad balancing, and it rarely occurs. That you're playing with and against better players and you just can't handle it.

But how on earth can you tell me that while having a 6.7 / 5.1 / 10.1 KDA out of 179 games as a support, I'm the reason for most of my losses? For every single time I die i get 2 assists plus at least one kill on average.

On my main champion (Pyke) that accounts for 129 out of those 179 games, I have :

An average of 1.94 vision score per minute which is above average for every single league from bronze to Master. An average damage to turrets of 1,975 which is above average for every single league from bronze to Master. A 63.6% teamfight winrate on average and 85.8% teamfight participation per average. I die 0.56 times on average until the 10th minute of the game, yet I have 3.09 average kills+assists on average in the same time span.

How is this even possible ?

In theory if this system would work, a player like me should be the absolute difference needed between those teammates and enemies that are supposedly "at the same skill" even if they would be at the same skill as me.

You can't just say that I am playing "just for KDA" when I have 85.8% teamfight participation and I win most of those teamfights.

So what exactly is it ? If i can maintain a good KDA, and do well with vision/objectives/teamfights, what else is there to do ? Don't you think that maaaaaaybe my teammates are not at my same level most of the time and that it's a big coinflip when it comes to them winning their lanes ?

I mean, i can probably win botlane if the ADC is half decent, and maybe I can throw some roams on mid and get a kill or two, but that's about it. Hell, I had a game in which before the 10th minute mark, i was 2/0/3, I got 2 kills on bot, 1 assist on mid and 2 assists on top. I WAS ON ALL THE LANES GETTING KILLS BEFORE MINUTE !0 and we still somehow lost, you can't snowball bad players period.

The game is not about kills or KDA.. its about objectives.. towers and nexus win the game. You could never get a single kill and still win the game... you can go 22/0/20 and still lose the game..

it amazes me how many people do not understand this.

This is why soraka and sona top is a thing... they lose lane, but win the game because of the support they offer when it actually counts and its time to push a lane or teamfight.

So you can have the best stats in the world..and if you didn't help secure dragons/herald/baron.. if you did not push your lane and take your towers.. you are going to lose

Do you know that stat padding is a thing right? You could he playing the worst way imaginable but still be able to pad your stats to such ludicrous levels. Having high stats literally means nothing. Even a monkey can achieve good stats.

if you don't destroy the nexus, you lose, plain and simple. i have won a match with a bad KDA and sometimes a feeder top laner. i am not interested in KDA but in objectives. Kills without objectives do not guarantee a free victory. if you love KDA so much , you can try CS GO , it fits your play style.

Stats are kind of a distraction. As everybody else here is telling you. I know challenger level players who have lousy CS stats.

And this is why Eternals are bad.

The most only meaningful Eternal would be... "Objectives Killed".
