It's not. But when the 0/3 top lane keeps forcing fights with the 3/0 Fiora with summoner advantage it might as well be.

At that point, unless you're mentally unstable, yes it is. Keep on arguing schematics though.

Could be that they just don't know what to do in that situation. if they're told to play safe yet they keep forcing fights, then they're kind of inting.

or they're just delusional and think they can win anything (like one of my friends who frequently goes 1v5 just cos he got 6 kills in laning phase) it's not intentional feeding, it's just dumb.

It happens. The only thing you can do as a teammate is to warn them and give them advice. You can't control how a person plays (Though I wish I could do this at some points).

Telling someone to play safe after they're down in lane is basically inviting them to int.

that's intentionally feeding kills to the enemy team...

I would say then they are feeding. That is the connotation that feeding got over time, that it's not only actively giving kills, but also not preventing it enough (unintentional feeding).

But inting literally means intentional feeding. No matter how obvious it is that you should be playing safer and keep giving kills, you might be feeding, but inting is always on purpose.

Unfortunately the word is getting more and more misused as that, until we need a new word. Intentional inting?

Is that why the phrase is: Intentionally Feeding?

is not "bad game", especially when your teammates tell you what NOT to do.

Sounds like me trying to play Yasuo.

I've only done this once, but I did win a game once where I was like 1/30 or something as teemo. come the 40-50 min mark and the enemy team wasn't able to stop me from back dooring them simply cuz I farmed so much.

If people would remember what inting stands for then maybe they'd understand intentionally feeding =/= feeding

Kyunsei2 votes

Doesn't matter TBH. You can say of someone who play bad/die that he trolls, feeds or int. If you really want a term that suits the real definition, stop using those words and simply say : - "My teamate/I died"

Camulos2 votes

If someone goes 0/3 in lane or similar, it's ok, there's still a chance to come back. If someone feeds around 0/13 before 15 minutes, that's the point where I'm pretty sure they're tilted and/or trolling. They've had plenty of chances to stop doing what they're doing, but flat-out refuse to. If the way they are playing is only resulting in giving the enemy an advantage, and they refuse to change (in other words, they "intend" to keep playing in the same way), at that point they are intentionally feeding in my eyes. Unconsciously inting perhaps, but inting nonetheless.

bad game isn't inting

Yes, it is when you have the choice of going AFK or standing in base instead of continuing to aid the enemy team. Feeding can in 9/10 times be avoided by simply playing differently.

0/10 botlane before Ten is inting most of time... idc about any excuse.

It's honestly sad how some people do not believe that there are other people who do not possess the same amount of game knowledge as themselves. There are people who fight a losing fight simply because they aren't experienced. I did that a lot 5 years ago because I didn't know the concepts of "power spikes" and "getting ahead". I'm sure a lot of people on these boards are overestimating themselves.

One glance at the thread says: it's always better to assess the case for details than to dismiss it on appearance.

if players had half a brain they'd know that. but they don't.
